this week taken out the “Premier’s Award for
Excellence” at the Tasmanian Craft Fair.

Mr. Peel has been awarded the $10,000 acquisitive
prize for his sculptural ring set with large South
Sea pearl and precious gemstones at the November
5th gala event.

“I never expected to be in with a serious chance,
this is the sort of thing that happens to other
people”, says Mr. Peel. “It is an incredible
privilege and honour to be called a master of my
craft by such highly respected and experienced
judges”.

Dr. Gerry King, internationally renowned glass
artist, Ken Lockwood, publisher of Craft Arts
International Magazine and Larissa Bartlett,
wife of former Tasmanian Premier David Bartlett,
judged the Premier’s award.

The award is the highlight of the Tasmanian Craft
Fair, one of Tasmania’s most important annual
cultural events for the last 31 years.

The recognition this award brings is a significant
achievement in Mr. Peels successful 20-year career
as a gold and silversmith.

Mr. Peel and his wife Liz established Silvermist
Studio in Healesville in 1998 and have been active
in the Yarra Valley arts and tourism scene since
that time.

Over the last 3 years "Mr. Peel has been involved
in the Yarra Valley Open Studios event as one of
the founders and as a participant. He is also a
Director of Mud Glass Metal gallery in Healesville.

people are dulled by the pain and lost, their sense of
what they truly need and entitled to!

some one to blame! Sadly it has fallen on the lovely
Obama It could be suggested that the long term consequence
of Wall St greed war mongering and America’s personal myth
has gone “BUNG”(that is to say Broken)

An attitude of we no best attitude and inward looking
approach has left them on the brink of acknowledging,
they are not necessarily the king of the castle nor
prey tell a first world country at all!

We can see quote clearly wide spread homeliness very
obvious poverty has kicked in big time! “state side”.
One would have to argue that indeed it has always been
there and simply polarised by what occurred with the
Wall St crash in 2008 among other bad decisions.

GEORGES REIGN OF LIES AND POOR DECISIONS

One could look back to “Georges reign and well before
and see the cracks were in the advanced stages and well
on the way to bringing down an outdated empires paradigm
of it self!

One has to question & truly wonder what George really
understood about "weapons of mass destruction" (where
were they)and the implications of war, international
diplomacy or good manners! moreover One has ask what
was his framework of reference, world peace or genuine
friendship, with the world he was "using" outside of
America? It could appear as Abba would say, "winner
takes it all!

Obama in his first 3 years, as the current US President has

A very complex job to change the minds and paradigms of seven
