The 2007 Sustainable Living Festival was one of the
best yet, reinforcing it as Australia?s largest event
of its kind.

Expressions of Interest forms are now being accepted
for both exhibitors and performances/talks for 2008.

The 2008 festival dates are 15 ?17 February 2008; lock

Performance poet Pi O came to Australia from
Greece with his family around 1954. His work
ranges from stand up rants to 'conceptual' page
poetry, with a heavy emphasis on wordplay and
capturing the vitality of everyday speech.

Thematically he commonly portrays the issues
of migrant working class life. He has had
numerous books published since his first,
Fitzroy Brothel in 1974, more notably the
epic verse novel 24hrs.

From 1978 to 1983 he was involved in producing
the radical poetry magazine 925 in Melbourne.
He is a fixture of the city's performance poetry
scene and has edited an anthology of performance
poetry (Off the record) for Penguin
(Wikipedia, 2007).

He has also been a regular reader at La Mama
Poetica's since the 1970s.

Gary Foley is an indigenous Australian activist,
academic, writer and actor. He is best known for
his role in establishing the Aboriginal Tent
Embassy in Canberra in 1972 and for establishing
an Aboriginal legal service in Redfern in the 1970s.

Foley also co-wrote and acted in the first indigenous
Australian stage production, "Basically Black"
(Wikipedia, 2007).

When one takes photographs, the moment before ones clicks the
shutter; ones mind is empty and open to what will be. Just
seeing without verbal language and open to the image is truly
being NOW.

When one, sits in front of ones desktop, about to create an
article or paper, one has no idea what will be the final word
on the page. One may have a picture or a cunning plan of how
it will be formulated structured and presented However the
magic is the 'NEXT" moment of discovery of the NEW idea.

One does not actually know what will appear when one presses
the first key. " Ah yes the best laid plans" Allowing oneself
to, begin and create in right timing is paramount to the process
of NOW...Only then will the full story emerge and evolve in it's
fullness....

One must trust the flow of words or the picture that is
captured in ones thoughts or camera. Be willing and open
to the moment of brave action. When one is current the
mind will always be innovative responsive and spontaneous.

It is ultimately the bravest act we can do. Opening to
ones first thought is the way to being in true action and
fully present. One is always freer when one is open to the
NEW NOW MOMENTS OF LIFE/VITA.

Live with the NOW and be wiling to see a divine image or
story unfold before one?Be thrilled for the surprise in
every moment one is GIVEN..

Always ready for NOW and what is NEXT in the process of
VITA/LIFE.......

My dearest compassionate loved ones and loving human
beings....

The World Refugee Day rally is nearly upon us. A prolific
amount of promotional work has been achieved to highlight
this important cause. We are sure there will be a great
turnout to rally against the glaring injustices of the
Australian Federal policy on the issue.

There will a fabulous group of speakers confirmed,that
include Senator Kerry Nettle. 10,332 people have already
signed a petition against the new detention centre on
Christmas Island (including a prominent Federal Liberal
MP!).

In August 2007, it will be six years since 433 Asylum
Seekers, rescued by the captain and crew of the Tampa.
They were unceremoniously rejected refugee status in
Australia and expected to leave without further ado or
immediately in fact..(where are they NOW we ask??)
Mmmm this a topical one for the well known TV show???
That would top even David Cassidy or could compete
compartively with those hit by lightning.....

The rest of the TAMPA issues is an embarrassing
history and a major international travesty of justice
Not to mention a lack of international respect and
etiquette... Or love of the other for that matter.
HMMmmm...

It is also a violation of maritime conventions and our
human rights obligations. The Tampa incident 6 years
ago, marks the beginning of the current Australian
Federal governments unjust undignified and gob
smacking, com passionless behaviors..and their'

The Refugee Action Collective (Vic) is organizing this
event to commemorate this shameful moment in Australia's
recent history.It is also to protest the continuing legacy
of policies that stop asylum seekers from gaining refuge
in Australia. It is to protest about mandatory detention
deportations, temporary protection and the lack of genuine
compassion that is being shown by these types of policies.

WE MUST OBJECT TO THIS KIND OF SHORT SIGHTED POLICY

The 'Pacific Solution',and the new Christmas Island Detention Centre.

The enormous new detention camp on Christmas Island is 1,000
kms off the Australian mainland, where no-one can hear you
scream in pain.and deep saddness for a life/ VITA we are all

in Riga Latvia, Kiev in Ukraine the windy city Chicago or
the 'ab-fab" luscious and seductive New York.

New exotic locales will offer new opportunities new ways
of being our essential self. So be chilled and relaxed in
the northern spring or be open to a sublime & awe-inspiring
summer chill out, in sumptuous New York. We must all be

Sorry back to John and George. ambitious idea really to
get them round to that old fashioned idea of good manners
love and comfort food... Maybe we leave that for another

Seriously though are John and George the kind of people
you want playing at ones home with ones children?? I
think NOT they leave such a mess and obviously have NO

is that?? By international reports they could well end up
at the neighbors and cause a truly hideous mess and make
things worse than it currently is....

FUTURE GENERATIONS AND REAL ADVENTURES

What ?legacy are we creating for our children,and
the children who are yet to come??? What are their
needs what adventures will they experience..??

So BE FREE and OPEN to the other.. live the dream
and love fully. We must ALL remember our LOVE and
how we can trust it..BE on ones journey and ENJOY
