Getup on the clean emissions of change  -  @ 01:51:pm
"Kevin Rudd announced last week more than a billion
dollars in extra handouts for big polluters, on top
of the more than $7.4 billion already announced and
that we'll have to wait until after the next federal
election, before the Carbon Pollution Reduction
Scheme begins.

The emissions reduction target remains the same a
pathetic 5% unless other countries drag us to the
unlikely new upper limit, 25%."

Meaningful and committed action on climate change
is being whoa fully neglected by this Australian
Federal Government. WE as a whole need to address
this issue NOW!!! Not later Kevin...Right NOW!!

"Experts" and those that are conscious have long
been VERY AWARE and have mentioned...HELLO, that
this delay costs the economy and the environment.

We are ALL very aware of the solution Get ups
survey distributed earlier this year to members/
taxpayers US/concerned citizens, recognized that
"a massive investment in renewable energy' is our
overwhelmingly number one priority.

"GETUP are launching this simple commonsense ask:
"Invest more in renewable energy than you handout
to big polluters"

Click here to sign the petition.

ClimateActionNow&id=638?dc=719,86439,2

A massive investment in renewable energy means
we can stimulate the Australian economy & with
a visionary and clear direction will NO DOUBT
create hundreds of thousands of clean energy jobs,
starting right now. We just need to do it Kevin!!

This is the most USEFUL way we can break free
"from the shackles of the dirty coal industries
foul smelling strangle hold, fear based threats
about job loses.

That is WHAT is holding us ALL back KEVIN dear.
Not to mention the wheeling and dealing of so
called "political donations", that just adds
to the problem and cloud this imperative need
to what should be committed to and what isn't
being committed too by this Federal Government...

Getup on the trading scheme

"The emissions trading scheme will now not start
before the next election, but clean energy jobs
are so there for the taking today. We can move
forward and create new ways of building a cleaner
future and build new cleaner jobs...

With so many Australian jobs under threat from
the boogey global financial crisis, the world
can NO LONGER afford NOT to invest in renewable
energy.

This is not rocket science KEVIN dear..YET this
Government's just not taking the message onboard..
So we must ALL tell OUR elected Federal Government
today: By signing the petition above...

To genuinely tackle climate change we ALL need
to wean ourselves off OLD dirty energy that
steals not renews our world..That's what this
emissions trading is for.

More importantly, we need to make renewable
energy a priority and affordable. An investment
in new clean energy technology is the future..
This will indeed be a catalyst for ensuring
new industries that can lead to NEW jobs and
a new future for All of US.

Just take the next brave step on the clean
mountain of change Kevin!!

Vita and the Getup team creating clean
futures together.. It is a must do...
