Opening doors in the womens century

896When you sing with a group of people, you learn how to subsume yourself into a group consciousness because a Capella singing is all about the immersion of the self into the community. That is one of the great feelings – to stop being me for a little while and to become us. That way offers empathy, the great social virtue. Brian Eno

Australin voters must not allow nor accept that Julia take the blame for the patriarchal past! By all accounts Kevin 07 has tried to convince Australian voters the Labour Party can find a “new way” of being, clearly a conundrum for them as Australians are on track to go back to the past patriarchal paradigms whichever party ‘wins the election.

By ousting Julia, based on a flawed idea she was NOT popular, and a liar is nonsense, and that could appear as a very a low-grade approach to making choices about how and who is running a country. It could well be more like ego based revenge, a very patriarchal behaviour indeed…

A more proactive and constructive approach would be not treating women like the “enemy”! Give that a red-hot go. This ‘new way’ is terribly modern and clearly lost on their ‘marketing strategists within political circles It could well appear both sides of politics have lost their way or stuck in another century that is so over. A new generation is doing it for themselves.

The Labour Party have reinstated what some suggested who worked with him a “control freak” with clearly a bad temper who clearly does not like being asked to hear and listen nor clarify his statements or be questioned at all about ‘FACTS’. Sadly this muddies the water and is not a new way at all,

One could say he has a whole lot of good ideas worth consideration however, that needs less talk, genuine team players dialogue, and consensus. Instead what we now have are people with a vision who were too scared to stand up, act with genuine integrity, and follow through and ironically being led by what some have said is a despot.

This level of fear and complacency, is not helpful nor relevant to Gough’s grandchildren (those born in the 60’s and educated in the 70’s in Australia. for those NOT in the KNOW), or indeed for those born into the Women’s Century…

Some could say these generations were born not to rule they came to move the world forward! To create the future collaborate work live love and play with genuine integrity not rely on patriarchal beliefs but create new beliefs that are inclusive. These generations embrace new media, research empower and learn from the past! They are hearing and listening acting from love not greed.

Learning is a result of listening, which in turn leads to even better listening and attentiveness to the other person. In other words, to learn from the child, we must have empathy, and empathy grows as we learn. Alice Miller

Welcome to the ‘women’s century’ if one has just arrived. A quaint article but clearly necessary to get people to step up into the women’s century!
