In the beginning we marvel at a child’s arrival we coddle we cuddle. we cry with joy! It is been known on occasion to marvel at the idea of who they will become. A little bit of me a little bit you say, delighted parents! It becomes clear we could well embrace that way of being toward all people!
We are all as one.A tasteful dignified respectful behavior the world could well embrace.Yes indeed ‘ more empathy more compassion maybe just a little bit of me a little bit of you” will make the world a better place! THE HUMAN JOURNEY AND HUMANE GROWTH
By 3 months we begin to see a bit more of our children, as they adjust to the world beyond the womb. The thrill of discovering their hands their feet! the joy of solid food as opposed to mothers milk!. ( We get back to fluids in our 20’s and dirty 30’s of course not quite the same.)
Then comes a child’s teeth to chew anything in sight, Oh then the joy of independence and fitness ridding the vessel called ‘body’ of baby fat, The child has a risen to take life by the hands and make it beg for more ( as my friend Scout would say,)
The marvel of learning to crawl ! Our first journey’s on our own have begun! The magic of the first push ups as we reach for more cake! (That is before we discover our need for a personal trainers in later life) Ah yes the self made inner child the determination of the ‘Original Self” begins to truly shine through our body knowing it is ready to embrace its inner knowing!

MAKING CHOICES SHARED LANGUAGE: CHILDREN’ OF THE REVOLUTION CHILDREN OF THE EVOLUTION ASK MORE QUESTIONS AND GET NO LIES
Stored language begins to appear and by 18 months to 3 years they have often started drawing and writing their own scripts .. Evolving their own movie developing their own characters friendships and networks They begin to create their own lifestyle and outfits Making their own choices, for how their journey will evolve!
CHILDREN’S QUESTIONS NEED REAL ANSWERS AND HONESTY WHAT EVER CENTURY THEY LIVE IN
As children grow they offer a smile and a wave a delighted giggle. As children grow they question WHY!! As children grow they love to share their dreams and desires, giving us a glimpse of what we can create for ourselves! They show US their ‘true nature their original self.
AS CHILDREN GROW EVOLVE THEY ASK QUESTIONS THAT MATTER TO THEM?
Where does the sun go at night as we sleep? Why do bananas wear pajamas’s? Do the Wiggles have parents? Do the Wiggles have a home or do the live on stage or in the telly? Why is the sky blue? What is TIME? Why do I have to wait? Why do I have to learn from 9.00an til 3.00pm Why do people think learning is a one way street? Why do people wear clothes and animals don’t?
Why did the chicken cross the road? Did his mum know he was out of the coop? Don’t we all own the earth? Why do children need to obey their parents? Why do root vegetables grow in the earth? Why do snakes slither and not walk? What are shadows made of? How far do oceans go? Why does land meet the sea? Why can’t we touch the sky? What is sin who said so? What is up and down? WHY WHY WHY!
What is wrong with asking questions? Who has all the answers is that in a C,S, Lewis book or can I find all the answers on Google? What is an employer /boss? Aren’t I the BOSS OF ME? What is a bank loan? Isn’t Crowd funding a more inclusive creative way to shape the future?
THE BIG QUESTIONS CHILDREN COULD WELL ASK THAT REALLY MUST BE ADDRESSED
Why do we need to make excuses for other people’s poor behavior? Why is sorry the hardest word who said so anyway (apart from Elton) Is Michael Angelo really a Ninja Turtle or a Renaissance artist? Which came first REALLY? Who are Adam and Eve? Does Eve only eat apples? Who invented original sin? What was that all about? Will there ever be peace on earth? Why do people start wars? Is George Bush the original sin or is it genetic memory?
Why do men fight wars? Why does Australia have an Un- natural disaster for a Federal government? Are we just guests on the earth? Why do people assault their children? Where does the Stork live? Is it true that patriarchy is an undiagnosed mental illness just like misogyny is?
\Why do men believe they own the world? Why do they insist on control and blame? Who created the glass ceiling and why? Why are people cruel to other people! Why do people go hungry in the world? Why does injustice exist at all!
Why are people racist why do people judge other people? Why are women still treated as 2nd class citizens in 2014? What is a true leader/ What is genuine power? Isn’t collaborative work far more effective than patriarchal power structures? Won’t we get more done if we ALL work as ONE
(If your children are not asking such things maybe just maybe look at one’s own belief systems and why they are NOT asking them! More to the point examine what ones answers are.
WALKING AND STRUTTING BEING VERY VOGUE BUT NOT PATRIARCHAL
The thrill of walking and strutting our stuff as a child, is often witnessed across the family kitchen floor! As we move forward into the women’s century both mother and child could well be seen in 2014, ‘strutting their stuff’ in the board room, the home based office. in a mothers favorite cafe or the creche depending on a mothers circumstance! Note that none of this (often) appears to happen in patriarchal environments loved ones .
EVERY BREATH WE TAKE WE CREATE
We pay attention to their every breath their every move under the illusion it is our breath our moves and guidance that creates who they become! It could be said we often times misread our role our right to impose our will over the people we have created. Initially We look with wonder at who we have created and see the mirror of the self! So be aware of the self.
Our children exist because we exist Like the moon and the Sun ‘rise and shine, we must always remember we birth our children we can offer our genuine self and genuine love however we do NOT own them the carry their own light their own lived experience
We must be conscious and look at them just as we do at the moon and marvel at what it is just as it is. We must remember our own inner child and always love the other as one would wish to be loved.
